Amanda Apolonia Waligun and William Augustine Grabinski, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles Jr. and Renee Waligun, of Shavertown. The groom-to-be is the son of Richard Jr. and Maria Grabinski, of Newport Township.

Amanda is a 2009 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in medical studies in 2013 from King’s College. She went on to earn a Master of Science in physician assistant studies in 2014 from King’s College and was inducted into Pi Alpha, The National Honor Society for physician assistants. Amanda is a certified physician assistant and is currently employed in the general surgery department at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

William is a 2009 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from King’s College in 2013, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society for being in the top ten percent of students in the McGowan School of Business. William is a certified public accountant and is currently employed with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP.

The couple will exchange vows in September 2016.
