Christine Zavaskas and Michael Marcos, together with their families, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Rose Zavaskas, of Wyoming. She is the granddaughter of the late Bernard and Helen Zavaskas and the late Marie Krainz.

The prospective groom is the son of Frank and Denise Marcos, of Paupak, and Naples, Florida. He is the grandson of Maria Zampolino, the late Arthur Zampolino and the late Frank and Nina Marcos.

Christine is a 2005 graduate of Dallas High School and a 2009 graduate of Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies. She is employed as director of grants and communications for United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Michael is a 2005 graduate of Bergen Catholic High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in information sciences and technology. He is employed as a senior web developer at Achieve3000.

The couple will exchange vows in April 2017 at Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg.
