The engagement of Rachel May, daughter of Elaine May and the late David May, Swoyersville; to James Imler, son of Rick and Sheryl Imler, Duncansville, is announced by the bride’s mother.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. Rachel received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Penn State Altoona in 2014 and is employed as an accounts payable specialist at BMW Financial Services, Hilliard, Ohio.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Slusarz, Mountain Top; and Mrs. Dorothy May and the late Mr. Russell May, Plymouth.
The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. James received a Bachelor of Science degree in electro-mechanical engineering technology from Penn State Altoona in 2014. He is engineering staff at Honda of America Manufacturing, Marysville, Ohio.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Imler, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald DeCoskey.
The couple became engaged Feb. 24, 2016, and will be married in State College in June of 2017.
