Amanda Marie Kinney and Stephen John Haduck, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael Kinney, Sugar Notch, and Karen Kerestes, Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Joan Kinney, Sugar Notch, and Joseph and Audrey Kerestes, Ashley.

The prospective groom is the son of John and Alice Haduck, Duryea. He is the grandson of the late Jacob Haduck and Mary Alice Haduck-Wilk, Duryea, and the late George and Elizabeth Jones, Duryea.

Amanda is a 2006 graduate of Coughlin High School and a 2011 graduate of Misericordia University with a bachelor degree of social work. She currently serves on the board of directors at Caring Communities. Amanda is employed as an adolescent caseworker at Catholic Social Services-The Bridge Youth Services, Wilkes-Barre.

Stephen is a 2004 graduate of Pittston Area/Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational School and a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology with an associate’s degree in welding fabrication. Stephen is currently employed at A to S Metals, Hazleton.

The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 8, 2017 at the Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estates, Dallas.
