Nick Gashi struck out eight over four innings as the Yankees nipped the Red Sox, 10-9. Cooper Lewis locked down the save with three strikeouts. Sam Leandri banged out three hits while Gashi added two doubles, and Lewis stroked a double and a single in the win. Josh Peters added a hit and two RBI for the Yanks. Chris Killian, Ben Fife and Finarelli had two hits each for the Red Sox.

Logan Paczewski pitched five innings and struck out seven as the Yankees topped the Pirates, 9-4. Sam Leandri came in the sixth inning to earn the save. Paczewski and Leandri added three hits each in the win. Cooper Lewis had two hits, and Nick Gashi added two doubles. Will youngman had two hits, Brian Osipower and Ty Osipower had hits in the loss.
