SCRANTON — Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple has announced dates and shows for their 2016 Children’s Series.

The series will begin Feb. 20 with a story about a boy and his canine companion, “Henry and Munge.” “The Monster Who Ate My Peas,” a story about a boy who dislikes peas so much he pays a monster whatever it asks in exchange for eating them, will be performed March 19.

The series continues April 16 with “Skippyjon Jones So What,” a story about a cat that goes on an adventure to wake up a frozen princess. P. D. Eastman’s “Are You My Mother?” will finish the series May 14.

All performances begin at 11 a.m. and each is preceded at 10 a.m. by Wiggles and Giggles Interactive Craft Workshop for parents and children. Admission to the performances is $8 per person, while admission to the craft workshops is $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased at Scranton Cultural Center’s box office or by calling (570) 344-1111. Tickets can also be purchased from Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets.
