Music from St. Stephen’s will present its 3rd Annual Winter Warmer Concert Series featuring – Indigo Moon Brass Band at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in the auditorium of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre.

The concert will include warm winter refreshments and a post-performance Meet-the-Artist Reception. Each concert is 75 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are $18.00. Ticket prices include refreshments and may be purchased at the door.

Inspired by the music of New Orleans, the Indigo Moon Brass Band describes itself as “mixing it up,” bouncing between rhythm & blues, hip-hop, (think James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Beyoncé); traditional New Orleans favorites (think “When the Saints Go Marching In”–New Orleans style) as well as other classics of the gospel tradition. They even throw in a little free jazz improvisation and they welcome the audience to dance.

The Indigo Moon Brass Band will play at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Wilkes-Barre on Feb. 5
