WILKES-BARRE — Hardcore punk legend and jack of all trades Henry Rollins announced a multi-city spoken word tour that brings him, at 8 p.m. Nov. 6, to the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square as part of the “Live from the Chandelier Lobby” series.
Rollins, whose career has diversified him as an actor, voice over artist, author, photographer, columnist, TV host and radio DJ, presents timely commentary on politics with anecdotes from recent experiences in Los Angeles and perspectives gained through world travel.
A press release from the Kirby Center said Rollins’ talking shows are known for energy, wit, anger and humor.
The Washington Post reported, “Rollins is many things … diatribist, confessor, provocateur, humorist, even motivational speaker … his is an enthusiastic and engaging chatter.
Tickets for Rollins’ performance at the Kirby Center go on sale at 10 a.m. June 16 at the Kirby Center box office, by phone at 570-826-1100 and online at kirbycenter.org. A pre-sale for Kirby members begins at 10 a.m. June 15.
