Most ladies like to look good when they go out and sometimes makeup is used to enhance that goodness. Mixed Chicks has a complete line of makeup, moisturizers and lotions to chose from. Our favorite pick is the Dual Quick Stick, a foundation and bronzer in a portable, pocket size stick. Shades can accommodate fair to light to deep brown complexions. If you’re looking for additional products, check out their website for some more options (mixedchicks.net).

The woman on your shopping list will say “ooh” and “ahh” when she unwraps a gift certificate for a spa weekend. Several salons in our area, such as Sapphire Salon and Spa, 247 S. Main St., Pittston and in The Woodlands, Sakarai Salon and Spa, 900 Rutter Ave., Forty Fort, and the Woodhouse Day Spa, 387 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, offer gift certificates for a wide array of services and pampering.
