WILKES-BARRE TWP. — The Mohegan Sun Arena announced today that comedy superstar Jeff Dunham will perform at 5 p.m. Dec. 30 at the venue, 255 Highland Park Blvd., as part of his Passively Aggressive tour.

Dunham has earned his reputation making audiences roar with his ventriloquist act and his revolving cast of dummies, including Walter, Bubba J., Peanut and Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

Dunham recently released his latest standup special, “Jeff Dunham: Relative Disaster,” on Netflix. According to a press release from the arena, “the special features Dunham along with his ill-behaved and slightly demented posse of characters for a gleeful skewering of family and politics.”

Tickets for the Dec. 30 performance go on sale Sept. 25 at jeffdunham.com, the arena box office, ticketmaster.com and by phone at 800-745-3000.
