Mr. and Mrs. Michael T. Konnick, Falls, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 2, 2015. Michael and Debby were married on Aug. 2, 1975 at Saint Michael’s Russian Orthodox Church in Old Forge.
Mrs. Konnick is the former Debby Pregrim, daughter of the late Anna and Stephen (Ace) Pregrim, Old Forge. She is a graduate of Misericordia University. She has been employed at WVIA Public Media for 23 years in the membership and education departments and is affectionately known as “Debby the Clubhouse Mom” by the Children and families who watch WVIA Public TV.
Mr. Konnick is the son of the late Catherine L. and Joseph M. Konnick, Dallas. He attended Wilkes University. He worked as anindustrial and commercial painter for Painter’s Local 41 for 37 years. He recently attended LCCC where he completed the program for his CDL license. He is now enjoying retirement.
The couple has two children, Michael Matthew Konnick and his wife Briana, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and Katrina Grace Konnick, Doylestown.
To celebrate this milestone, Michael and Debby enjoyed a cruise to Bermuda and the Caribbean in August.
