Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith of Wilkes-Barre celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16, 2015. They were married in Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilkes-Barre.
Joseph is the son of the late Ervin and Marie Smith of Wilkes-Barre. Shirley is the daughter of the late Harold and Esther Jones of Wilkes-Barre.
They have three daughters; Cheryl and her husband Mark Armitage, Karen and her husband Charles Centimole, and Traci and her husband James Smallcomb.
They are blessed with six grandchildren; Ashley and Spencer Armitage, Noah and Levi Centimole and Tyler and Bailey Smallcomb.
A family dinner was held in their honor.
