Representatives from Holy Redeemer High School, Wilkes-Barre, recently visited students in the upper grades at St. Jude School in an effort to acquaint them with the academic, athletic and spiritual opportunities available to them at Holy Redeemer and to encourage the elementary school students to take advantage of the many programs open to them through the Holy Redeemer junior high sports program. The students were invited to be a part of the fall program, which includes field hockey for girls, football for boys and cross country, volleyball, soccer and golf for both. In the spring, the opportunities include softball for girls, baseball for boys and track and field for both. Some of the participants, from left, first row, are Thomas Engle, Meghan Corridoni, Abby Stucker, Leah Mullery and Aaron Hoda. Second row: Anthony Strish, Colin Wills, Matthew Dean, Julianna Powis, Alex Rymar and Rachel Black.
