First National Community Bank (FNCB) recently presented a $752 donation to representatives from the Employment Opportunity and Training Center (EOTC) as part of FNCB’s Jeans for a Cause dress-down day in July. The fundraising effort encourages employees to make a small donation in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans to work one Friday every month. FNCB provides a corporate match of all donations collected. EOTC has earmarked the donation to help support the Treatment Court Advocacy Center of Lackawanna County, a rehabilitative program for local veterans. At the check presentation, from left: Donald Ryan, senior vice president, human resources officer, FNCB; Sharon McCrone, PhD, executive director, EOTC; and Mary Coolican, development director, EOTC.
