Junior Girl Scout Troop 30245, Wyoming, recently visited Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge, Dallas. The girls held a Teddy Bear tea fundraiser for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts at the Wyoming United Methodist Church in April. A portion of the proceeds from the event were used to purchase supplies for the refuge, which is a no-kill shelter. Some of the scouts visited Blue Chip Farms and presented Marge Bart, co-founder, with the donations. They also played with some of the puppies that are available for adoption.
