Junior Girl Scout Troop 30245, Wyoming, recently visited Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge, Dallas. The girls held a Teddy Bear tea fundraiser for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts at the Wyoming United Methodist Church in April. A portion of the proceeds from the event were used to purchase supplies for the refuge, which is a no-kill shelter. Some of the scouts visited Blue Chip Farms and presented Marge Bart, co-founder, with the donations. They also played with some of the puppies that are available for adoption. Some of the participants, from left, are Bart, Rebecca Polgar, Jillian Rogish, Gianna Pellegrino and Eliana Parra.
