Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1244 Mt. Zion Road, Harding, held its 23rd annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, July 25. Members of the congregation began early in the morning preparing hundreds of chicken dinners to be sold for dine-in or take-out services. The chicken dinners included a half chicken, roll, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, cole slaw, drinks and a dessert. All desserts were donated by members of the congregation. Preparing the dinner, not in order, are Robbie Powell, Dave Burgess, Wayman Smith and Ali Fitzgerald.
