The Wilkes-Barre Veterans Hospital Community Living Center will have a Chinese auction tent as part of the NEPA Labor Day festival to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre. Swoyersville’s Lou Michaels will be signing autographs from 2 to 3 p.m. and reggae music will be performed beginning at noon with George Wesley. There will be music, food, games and much more. A few items to be auctioned off will be Steelers helmets, footballs signed by Lou michaels, and a Pirates Roberto Clemente model bat.
