The Magdalen I. Iskra district of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association recently held a luncheon at the Best Western Genetti Hotel & Conference Center, Wilkes-Barre to honor the district’s ten national and four district scholarship recipients. Two additional scholarships, the Magdalen I. Iskra Scholarship and the Frank and Joann Biros Memorial Scholarship were also awarded. Recipients of the awards from left, first row, are Rachael D.
