There will be a ‘Downtown Hoedown for Hope’ from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, in downtown Scranton at the Backyard Ale House, 523 Linden Street, to benefit Marley’s Mission, a non-profit organization that provides equine-based therapy free of charge to children, and their families, who have experienced trauma. There will be a three-hour open bar, hors d’ hoeuvres, entertainment by local country music sensation Dani-elle, along with silent auction items, raffle items, a gift certificate tree, and 50/50 chances.
