HUDSON: The LANI VFW Post 6325 will hold its annual Christmas Party at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, for children, newborn to 10, in the Post Home at 35-37 Cleveland Street.
The deadline for registering a child is Wednesday, Dec 2, in the post.
Santa Claus will arrive on a fire truck and hand out gifts. Food and refreshments will be available and the building will be smoke free during these festivities.
DUPONT: The Dupont VFW Post 4909 Home Association will host its annual New Years Eve party from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. Dinner served until 9:30 p.m. with the bar being open until 1 a.m.
Donation is $40 per person. Contact Bob at the VFW for tickets and reservations, 570-654-9104. Deadline to register is Wednesday, Dec. 30. All LCB regulations apply. Tickets will not be available at the door.
DUPONT: American Legion Post 657 will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at Post 4909, 401 Main Street.
