The Luzerne County Community College Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC) Club decorated a heroes Christmas tree for 30 homeless veterans who live at St. Francis Assisi Veterans home in Scranton. The History Club advisor, LCCC Berwick Center, staff, faculty and students purchased gifts and the Rose Tucker Sr. Center in Nanticoke donated homemade lap afghans. A Christmas party was held and the gifts and items were delivered to the veterans.
