WILKES-BARRE – Friends of Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre will hold 12-hour Marvel Madness Marathon starting at noon Saturday at the theatre building at 537 N. Main St. Doors will open at 11:45 a.m.

Movie schedule: 12:15 p.m., Captain America: The First Avenger, 2011, PG-13; 2:30 p.m., contest break; 2:45 p.m. The Avengers, 2012, PG-13; 5:30 p.m., contest break/dinner break with What The Fork truck; 6:15 p.m. Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014, PG-13; 8:30 p.m., contest break; 9 p.m. Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2015, PG-13, ends at 11:45 p.m.; 10 p.m., exhibits close.

The little Theatre’s building was a movie house converted to a stage theatre in 1956. The movie concept with the big screen is still present.

The event, sponsored by R/C Theaters Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 and Tactical Advantage Game Shop, is slated to include costume and trivia contests, food and drink, cash bar and various other surprises.

Attendees will receive a voucher to attend the next film in the Marvel franchise Captain America: Civil War at R/C Theaters Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 when the film is released Thursday, May 5.
