Neal Martin and Katy Whalen, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Ms. Whalen is a graduate of Bishop O’Reilly High School, class of 2005, and of Penn State University, Class of 2009, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She currently works for the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Maryland.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Arbutus High School in Maryland, with a Masters License in HVACR. He currently works for MAA Mechanical as a senior project manager.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Ann Whalen of Forty Fort and David Whalen of Philadelphia. She is the granddaughter of Edna Mae and the late Frank Tuschak and Judy Birli and William Whalen.

The prospective groom is the son of Douglas and Audrey Martin from Baltimore, Maryland.

The couple was engaged in Baltimore, Maryland, in August 2014. A November 2015 wedding is planned in Baltimore.
