Tony Ferrese and Ashley McCulloch, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Ms. McCulloch is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School, class of 2007, and a King’s College Magna Cum Laude graduate class of 2011 where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary/special education. She also returned to King’s College to earn her Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in English as a second language. Ms. McCulloch currently works full time as an Elementary autism teacher in the Scranton School District. She also works as an adjunct professor at Lackawanna College, Scranton, and part time educational staff at Midatlantic Youth Services, Pittston.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2011 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wilkes University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history/secondary education. Mr. Ferrese then earned his Master’s Degree in higher education administration from Drexel University, Philadelphia. He is currently employed as a resident director at Lackawanna College, Scranton.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joseph and Debra Insalaco McCulloch of Pittston.

The prospective groom is the son of John Ferrese of Dunmore, Teresa Kirkpatrick of Pittston and stepson of Thomas Kirkpatrick of Pittston.

The couple was engaged on Christmas, 2014, and an April 2016 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Marello Parish in Pittston with reception to follow at the Holiday Inn East, Wilkes-Barre.
