Kayla M. Nagy and Michael R. Sokolas of Avoca, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brian and Denise Nagy of Moscow. The groom-to-be is the son of Russell and Charlotte Sokolas of Plains Township.
Kayla is a 2009 graduate of North Pocono High School and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Marywood University in 2013. She is employed by The O’Brien Law Group in Moosic.
Michael is a 2010 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He received a dual-bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology from Marywood University in 2014 and is currently enrolled at The University of Scranton pursuing a masters’ degree in human resources. He is employed by Geisinger Health Systems.
The couple will exchange vows May 14, 2016 in Moscow United Methodist Church with a reception to follow at Fiorelli’s, Peckville.
