Bethany Daron and Jesse Lee Francis were united in marriage on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at New Life Community Church, Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, by Pastor Marc Ramirez.

The bride is the daughter of Craig and Ruth Daron, Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of the late Durland and Edith Daron, Dallas, and the late Leonard and Julia Narcum, Hanover Township.

The groom is the son of Gary and Sandra Francis, Swoyersville. He is the grandson of Richard and Anna Merkel, Woodbine, Maryland; Harry Francis, Glen Burnie, Maryland; and the late Joan Francis.

The bride was given away by her father. She chose her sister, Jamie Daron Laferrera, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Francis, sister of the groom, and Chelsea Sprau and Grace Ciak-Linton, friends of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, Peter Francis, as his best man. Groomsmen were Nate Francis, Dan Francis and Joel Francis, brothers of the groom, and Jason Daron, brother of the bride.

The flower girls were Tegan Francis and Avaleigh King, nieces of the groom. The ring bearers were Javin Francis and Porter Francis, nephews of the groom.

Scripture was read by Pastor Dennis Madeira, former pastor and close family friend of the groom. Special music was provided by Elizabeth Calhoon, sister of the groom, accompanied by Janelle Francis, sister-in-law of the groom, as well as Rick Tomek, uncle of the bride.

An evening reception was held at Appletree Terrace, Newberry Estates, Dallas.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. She is a graduate of Misericordia University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in medical imaging in 2010 and a certificate in diagnostic medical sonography in 2011. She is pursuing her Master of Science degree in educational technology from Misericordia University and will be graduating in the summer of 2015. She is employed by Geisinger Health System as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer.

The groom is a 2006 home-school graduate. After high school he attended Keystone College, studying sports management. He is on the management staff at the Rock Recreation Sports Complex, Trucksville, and is employed by the Dallas School District as the junior varsity boys’ basketball coach.

Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in White House, Jamaica. They reside in Dallas.
