Vanessa Nancy Jannone and Pablo Juan Thomas were united in marriage on Feb. 28, 2015, overlooking the ocean in Vieques, Puerto Rico, by the Rev. Francisco Gonzalez.

The bride is the daughter of Virginia Jannone, Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, and the late Joseph Jannone. She is the granddaughter of Christine Jannone, Lucedale, Mississippi; the late Joseph Jannone; and the late Edward and Nancy Jaeger.

The groom is the son of Harold and Deborah Thomas, Kent, Ohio. He is the grandson of Sally McGhee, Mantua, Ohio, and Harold and Beverly Thomas, Cleveland, Ohio.

Given in marriage by her brother, Vincent Jannone, the bride chose Melissa Morris as matron of honor and Nicole Pirrone as bridesmaid.

The groom chose his father, Harold Thomas, and his brothers, Joshua and Dylan Thomas, as his groomsmen. Karl Teamor, cousin of the groom, was ring bearer.

A reading was given by Ernest Jaeger, uncle of the bride.

An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at Martineau Belle Playa on the island of Vieques. Prior to the wedding, the bride and groom also hosted a welcome dinner at Duffy’s Restaurant and a rehearsal party on Sun Bay.

The couple resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with their beloved bulldog, Lou.
