Jessyca R. Tencza and Samuel J. Siracuse were united in marriage on Aug. 23, 2014, in Shavertown United Methodist Church, Shavertown.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Tencza, Hanover Township.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Siracuse, Larksville.
The bride chose her friend, Stacy Malia, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bryanne Chandler, sister of the bride; Shelby Tencza, sister of the bride; Ellen Siracuse, cousin of the groom; and Courtney Ras, friend of the bride.
The groom chose his friend, Donnie Werts, as his best man. Groomsmen were Eric David, brother of the bride; Gordy Weightman, brother of the bride; Jim Dillon, friend of the groom; and R.J. Tomascik, friend of the groom.
Scriptural readings were given by Shelby Tencza, sister of the bride, and Arlene Mangino, godmother of the groom.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at River Grille, Wilkes-Barre. An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at Irem Country Club, Dallas.
The bride is a graduate of Hanover Area High School and Penn State University, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She earned her master’s degree in human resources from The University of Scranton. She is employed as a director at BAYADA Home Healthcare.
The groom is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and King’s College, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed as corporate controller at Hellers Gas.
The couple honeymooned in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. They reside in Shavertown.
