Megan Shutt and Paul Bartholomai were united in marriage on April 18, 2015, at St. Jude Church, Mountain Top, by the Rev. Joseph Evanko.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Jo Shutt, Mountain Top. She is the granddaughter of Mary Ann Medura and the late Walter Medura, Plymouth, and the late Donald and Anna Shutt, Hanover Green.

The groom is the son of Donna Bartholomai, Croydon, Pennsylvania, and Paul Bartholomai Sr. and Kim Bartholomai, Yardley, Pennsylvania. He is the grandson of Albert and Millie Sylvester, Croydon, and the late Fritz and Jean Bartholomai, Levittown, Pennsylvania.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Standing alongside the bride were her sisters, Samantha Bensavage and Rachel Napkori. Samantha serving as maid of honor. Ally Miara, friend of the bride, and Stevie Bartholomai, sister of the groom, also served as bridesmaids.

The groom chose to have the support from his best man and friend, Ron Helm. Friends of the groom, Brian Buchman and Matthew Costello, served as groomsmen, along with the groom’s cousin, Scott Holden.

The flower girl and ring bearer were the bride’s niece and nephew, Natalie and Luke Bensavage. Readings were given by the maid of honor, Samantha; cousin of the groom, Jake Fairfield; and brother-in-law to the bride, Scott Napkori.

Following the ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception were held at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums, Pennsylvania.

The couple are 2012 graduates of Kutztown University and both work for the Geisinger Health System.

The newlyweds flew to Jamaica in April for their honeymoon and returned to their residence in Mountain Top to their dog, Zoe.
