Melissa Charneski and Mark Sheply were united in the sacrament of marriage Saturday, June 20, 2015, at R&D Memories, Hanover Township, by Pastor Bob Thomas.
The bride is the daughter of Bernard Charneski, Kingston, and Janet Charneski, Larksville. She is the granddaughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Charneski, Kingston, and Annamae Chergoski and the late Michael Chergoski, Edwardsville.
The groom is the son of Mary Sheply and the late Carl Sheply, Pringle. He is the grandson of the late Michael and Catherine Sheply, Edwardsville, and the late Edward and Elizabeth Martin, Pringle.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Jennifer Fedor, as her maid of honor. The groom chose his brother, David Sheply, as his best man. A reading was given by brothers of the bride, Bernard and Brian Charneski.
A bridal shower was hosted by the mothers of the bride and groom, aunt and cousin of the bride and the maid of honor at R&D Memories, Hanover Township. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s sister and brother-in-law and brother and sister-in-law at the groom’s sister and brother-in-law’s home in Dallas.
The bride is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and Luzerne County Community College’s Dental Assisting Program. She is employed by the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School. He is employed by New Story, Wyoming.
Following a honeymoon to Cape May, the couple resides in Larksville with their dog, Colby.
