Elizabeth Anne Lutz and Matthew Francis Bordy were united in marriage June 13, 2015, at Saint Elizabeth Ami Seton Church, Baldwinsville, NY, by Father John Finnegan.

The bride is the daughter of J. Peter and Eileen Lutz, Baldwinsville, NY. She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Margaret McMahon and the late John and Mary Ellen Lutz.

The groom is the son of Frank and Marie Bordy, Swoyersville. He is the grandson of the late John Meckalavage; The late Peter and Stella (Meckalavage) Songaila and the late Edward and Ann Bordy.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Kimberly Clements, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Barrieres and Laura Stachnik, friends of the bride.

The groom chose his friend, Stephen Breha, as best man. Groomsmen were John Lutz, brother of the bride, and Mark Voitek, friend of the groom.

An evening reception was held at Traditions at the Links of Erie Village, East Syracuse, NY. A wedding rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at The Retreat, Liverpool, NY. A bridal shower, hosted by the bride’s mother, was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride was also honored at a shower hosted by the groom’s mother at

Leggio’s Italian Restaurant, Dallas.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of C. W. Baker High School and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She earned her Master of Science degree from the Physician Assistant Program in 2013 from King’s College. She is employed by Geisinger, Kingston.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management in 2009 from King’s College. He is employed by RCN Cable and Internet Services.

The couple honeymooned in Saint Lucia. They reside in Wilkes-Barre.
