Aly Byorick and Dave Paveletz were united in marriage on May 9, 2015 at Saint Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Trish Byorick and the granddaughter of Lori and the late Edward Cywinski and Barbara and the late Frank Byorick, all of Nanticoke.

The groom is the son of Dave and Tammy Paveletz, Hanover Township, and the grandson of Dorothy Brenner, Nanticoke, and the late Daniel and Rose Marie Paveletz.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose her sister, Erin Byorick, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leigh Ann Bernaiche, Megan Bargella, Amanda Martin, Briann Lyons, Lauren Plodwick, all friends of the bride; and Jessalyn Paveletz, sister of the groom. Her cousin, Haley Wendolowski, was the flower girl.

The groom chose his college roommate and best friend Pete Johnsen as his best man. Groomsmen were Marc McDonough, Dan Musser, Brian Modo, all friends of the groom; Deric Dudinski, cousin of the groom; and Dan Byorick, brother of the bride. The bride’s godson, Max Wendolowski, and cousin Luke Wendolowski, were the ring bearers.

Scriptural readings were given by Maureen Peters, cousin of the groom, Paige Kowal, friend of the bride, and Laurie Cywinski, aunt of the bride. Gifts were given by Kelly Wendolowski and Jeff Cywinski, godparents of the bride; and Allison Rago, aunt of the groom.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by her mother at the Irem Temple Country Club, Dallas. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bride and groom at Anthracite Café, Wilkes Barre. An evening cocktail hour and reception was held at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School. She graduated from Lehigh University’s business school and is now employed as a senior account manager at an advertising agency in Philadelphia called M.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Hanover Area High School. He graduated from Susquehanna University’s business school and was recently inducted into The Susquehanna University Sports Hall of Fame for his football accomplishments. He is currently employed as a sales analyst at Teknion, Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He is also enrolled at West Texas A&M University for his post-graduate studies, where he will finish his Master of Business Administration in August 2016.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii where they visited the islands of Maui and Kauai. They now reside in Philadelphia with their two English bulldogs Meatball and Big Mac.
