Jennifer Serena and David Beynon were united in the sacrament of marriage Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, in the Peculiar Culinary Event Space, Hughestown, by the Rev. James Hary.

The bride is the daughter of James and Debra Clendening of Old Forge. She is the granddaughter of Delores and Joseph Hawley, Scranton; and the late Franklin and Mary Seber, Scranton.

The groom is the son of Vivian Sawka Beynon, Edwardsville; and David Beynon Sr., Plymouth. He is the grandson of the late Emma Sawka, Plymouth; Wesley Sawka, Wilkes Barre; and the late James and Marguerite Beynon, Shickshinny.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her sister, Jessica Little , as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brandee Herring, Joanna Kovaleski, and Brandi Kissolovege, best friends of the bride.

The groom chose his best friend, Jack Walter, as his best man. Groomsmen were Carl Beynon, brother of the groom; Dominic Hargrave, brother-in-law of the groom; and John Little, brother-in-law of the bride.

Flower girl was Hannah Serena and ring bearer was Jacob Serena, children of the couple.

A bridal shower was hosted by the bridal party at Fanucci’s in Old Forge.

The parents of the bride along with the couple hosted the rehearsal dinner at the bride’s parent’s home in Old Forge.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Old Forge High School and received Licensed Practical Nursing degree from the Lackawanna County School of Practical Nursing in 2004 and is attending the University of Scranton for the LPN to BSN program. She is employed as a nurse for Geisinger Health Systems.

The groom is a graduate of Wyoming Valley High School. He is a shipping manager for Keystone Automotive, Exeter.

Following a honeymoon to Niagara Falls and the Finger Lakes the couple reside in Moosic.
