The vow renewal ceremony for Ashley and Gunnery Sgt. Eric Lugo took place on April 4, 2015, overlooking the coast in San Diego, California.
The ceremony was followed by a reception dinner at the Camp Pendleton Delmar Resort.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Debbie Gennaro, Eagle Rock, and the granddaughter of Alice Socha-Gocek, the late Bernard Socha, Barbara Gennaro and the late Anthony Gennaro of Hazleton.
The groom is the son of Abad Mendez and Inocencio Lugo of Texas.
The brides attendants were Angela Turse, sister of the bride; Tara Gennaro, sister-in-law of the bride; Amy Kazinetz, Samantha Fenicchia and Lindsey Snyder.
The grooms attendants were Dimitri Vellanueva, Armando Lugo and Inocencio Lugo, Jr., brothers of the groom; Anthony Gennaro, brother of the bride; and Jeffrey Turse, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Kutztown University. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Foy Moody High School in Texas and has been serving in the Marine Corps for 13 years.
The couple, who reside in San Diego, have a son, Ean Michael, and a daughter, Arianna, who entered into eternal life.
