Megan Frances Conklin and Chad Frederick Newmark were united in marriage on June 26, 2015 on the Vail Wedding Deck in Vail, Colorado. The wedding was officiated by Rabbi Elliot J. Baskin, D. Minn. DD.

Megan is the daughter of Damian and Kathy Sadowski, Forty Fort and George and Julie Conklin, Wyoming. Chad is the son of Carl and Penny Newmark, Englewood, Colorado.

The bride chose her best friend, Haley VanCox as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carey Haberman and Amy Krupinski, friends of the bride; Autumn McGinley, niece of the bride; and Ellie and Cate Kroznuski, cousins of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, Brett Newmark, as his best man. Groomsmen were Hugo Weinberger, JJ Slatkin, Andrew Yale and Connor Hubbard, friends of the groom. Micah and Ezra Tischler, friends of the bride, and Amanda Gellis, cousin of the groom, were wedding ushers. James Tischler, friend of the bride, read Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116.

Following the ceremony, the couple hosted a reception at Donovan Pavilion.

Megan is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Penn State University, and the University of Maryland. She is the director of foundation relations at the University of Denver.

Chad is a graduate of Cherry Creek High School, Greenwood Village, Colorado and Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado. He is employed as a senior financial manager for General Electric.

In October, the couple trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal for their honeymoon and are now back at home in Denver with their beloved dog, Kona.
