Dallas graduate Regan Rome won the 5,000-meter run and finished third in the 1,500 at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships May 6-7.

The sophomore helped William & Mary to a third-place finish in the final team standings.

The 5,000-meter title was the first for Rome, who finished in 16:27.55. She has already qualified for the NCAA Division I semifinals in the event with a time of 16:12.82 at the Colonial Relays.

Rome, an All-American in cross country and indoor track, ran a career-best time of 4:24.16 in the 1500.
