SPRING MILLS — Police say a woman attacked her 82-year-old boyfriend with a hacksaw and model airplane.

The Centre Daily Times reports 46-year-old Bonnie Treaster of Centre Hall was arraigned Tuesday on aggravated and simple assault charges.

She’s jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail pending a May 27 preliminary hearing. Online court records didn’t list a lawyer to comment on the charges.

The man told police Treaster threw him to the ground, got on top of him and hit him on the head with an exhaust clamp. He says she grabbed a hacksaw and tried to pull down his pants. He says she later hit him in the mouth with a model airplane.

The man suffered an injury to his genitals and a minor brain bleed.

Police found a bloody hacksaw in the garage.
