PITTSTON — The Pittston Memorial Library’s Art Club will meet at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Seasonal decorations will be made.

The next Teen Reading Lounge meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7. Teen Reading Lounge, or TRL, is an interactive book club for teens in grades 6-12. Each month we will focus on a new book and engage in fun activities based on the book. The best part is that teens get to keep their own copy of the book. Registration is necessary. The unclaimed property search for Frugal Living for this month is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9. Come to the library any time that evening and do a search for money for on the database. If there is any money to claim the library will print the forms and make any copies. This is a free service offered to the public.

Teen Tech Week will be held Monday, March 9 through Saturday, March 14. Check out out Facebook page for more details on the event.

The Teen Advisory Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. New members are welcome.

The next grandparents coalition will meet at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 at the library.

Kids grade 2 to 5 are welcome to come to the library for Page Turners Book Club at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21. We will discuss the book “Alice In Wonderland,” do an activity based on the book and have a snack. New members are welcome and encouraged to check out the latest selection at the library. Kids are invited to come by and pick up the book at the Pittston library.

Kids grade 2 to 5 are welcome to come to the library for Science Club, which will meet again at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. We will perform fun experiments using the simple scientific method. Call the library to register.

Kids ages 3 to 11 are invited to the Lego Club, which is held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program at the library is free and open to all children in the community from birth to kindergarten. The child will receive a bag with an age appropriate book in it to keep in his or her collection.

Homework help is offered from 3 to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday for children in grades 1-5. All subjects are available.

Family Story Time for children of all ages is held at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. Toddler Story Time for children ages 2 to 3 is held at 10 a.m. every Tuesday. Pre-K Storytime for children 3 to 5 is held at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday. Call the library to register.

The Crochet Club meets at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and 5 p.m. on Thursdays. The club donated a large basket of handmade items to be raffled off this month. Tickets are $1.
