Tashara Elizabeth Teart and Christopher Edward Sheperis, together with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
he bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dolphus Teart Jr., Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dolphus Teart Sr., Detroit, Mich., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mabine, Wilkes-Barre.
She is a 2005 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education in 2009 from Misericordia University. She earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Bloomsburg University in 2012 and works as a special education teacher for the Wilkes-Barre Area School District.
The prospective groom is the son of Rosemary Sheperis, Wilkes-Barre. He is also the son of Bruce Sheperis, Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Delaney, Wilkes-Barre, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sheperis, Wyoming.
He is a 2002 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from King’s College and works as a legislative aide to Pennsylvania Senator John T. Yudichak.
The couple will exchange vows in June of 2013 at St. Mary’s Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre.
