Wilkes-Barre firefighters battle Barney Street apartment blaze

WILKES-BARRE — City firefighters battled a blaze Friday night at an apartment building on Barney Street.

All city firefighters were dispatched to the three-story structure at 10 p.m., said Luzerne County 911.

No injuries were immediately reported. Firefighters were still working on-scene as of press time, and further information was unavailable.
