WYOMING — Two men forced their way inside a residence after a woman lured the homeowner to the front door claiming her vehicle had ran out of gasoline early Wednesday morning, police said.

Police said a white woman knocked on the door of a residence in the 200 block of Monument Avenue at about 12:20 a.m. She told the homeowner she was stuck and asked if he had any gasoline for her vehicle.

When the homeowner opened the door, two black men forced their way inside the residence armed with handguns, police said.

Police said the armed suspects took cash and a cell phone.

No injuries were reported.

The armed suspects were described as being about 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin builds, early 30s and had on dark clothing. The woman is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds, shoulder length brown hair, mid-30s, and had on a dark colored blouse.
