WILKES-BARRE — A Hazleton man has admitted to allegations he stabbed another man during a fight.

Christopher Nicholas Ringlaben, 22, pleaded guilty Monday in Luzerne County Court to a single count of aggravated assault, according to court papers.

Judge Michael T. Vough scheduled the man’s sentencing for Oct. 5.

Court documents indicate Ringlaben is to undergo anger management treatment.

According to police, Ringlaben got into a fight on Nov. 10 with a Drums man who was sitting in a vehicle outside a Turkey Hill in Hazle Township.

During the fight, Ringlaben brandished a pocket knife and stabbed the man in the arm, causing a seven-inch laceration.

The Drums man managed to punch Ringlaben in the face, causing a bloody nose, police say.
