Hot temperatures, clear skies and some rain are in store for the Wyoming Valley over the next couple of days.

The National Weather Service reported that it was 57 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.

Today will be a hot one as temperatures are expected to get as high as 91 degrees before dipping down to 61 degrees this evening.

Monday will start off with a sunny day and 83 degree temperatures, but scattered thunderstorms may arrive in the evening with temperatures at 65 degrees and a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
