WILKES-BARRE — City residents are eligible for free flu shots in October and November.

Proof of residency is required before the vaccine can be administered.

Residents 6 months and older can receive the quadrivalent vaccine, providing protection for four different flu viruses. Residents over the age of 65 can receive a high-dose flu vaccine.

Clinics will be held at the following locations:

Kirby Health Center, 71 N Franklin St.

• Oct. 3, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

• Drive-through clinics on Oct. 14, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Oct. 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Oct. 24, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Nov. 1, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Hollenback Fire Station, 1020 N. Washington St.

• Oct. 17, 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 S. Main St.

• Oct. 20, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
