HANOVER TWP. — A shooting on Breaker Road at 10:14 p.m. Thursday resulted in the arrest of two individuals, according to a Hanover Township police report.

Charles Vincent Sherbin, 26, and Donna Maria Sherbin, 65, both of Lincoln Drive in Hanover Township, were taken into custody following a report of shots fired.

Hanover Township, Ashley Borough and Wilkes-Barre City Police departments responded to the dispatch.

According to the police news release, police officers stopped two vehicles involved in the incident on Kings Road in Hanover Township. Two Glock handguns were found in a silver Jeep Laredo.

Evidence was found showing shots had been fired at the second vehicle, although the news release did not identify the second vehicle.

Both Charles and Donna Sherbin are pending arraignment by the duty magistrate.

Charles is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment.

Donna is charged with being an accomplice to the following, aggravated assault, simple assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment.

Hanover Township Police Department confirmed both suspects were arraigned before District Judge Rick Cronauer Friday morning.

Donna Sherbin is being held in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. Her cash bail is set at $20,000.

Charles Sherbin is also being held in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility with bail set at $75,000.
