Rain and more snow are in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 35.

Snow is likely Friday night, mainly after 3 a.m., with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday will be cloudy, with snow likely before noon, then rain and snow, with the high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Saturday night more rain and snow likely before 3 a.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 30.

Sunday there will be a chance of snow showers before 9 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 40.

Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 23.
