Warm weather, rain in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley

    Warmer weather and April showers are in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this week.

    The National Weather Service indicated it was 42 degrees as of 9:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

    Today will be mostly mostly sunny with a high near 57.

    Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 36.

    Even warmer weather rolls in Monday, with a high near 61.

    Monday night brings rain, mainly after 9 p.m., with the low around 48.

    Tuesday brings more rain with a high near 61.

    Tuesday night calls for a chance of showers before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy skies with a low around 42.
