Warm weather and some April showers are in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this week.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 50 degrees as of 9:54 a.m. at the the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

Sunday afternoon will be sunny with a high near 67.

Skies will stay clear Sunday night, and the temperature will dip down around 47.

Monday will be sunny with a high near 77.

Clouds will roll in Monday night with a low around 55.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. High near 75.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low around 52.
