LANSDALE, Pa. (AP) — Police are looking for a woman they say tried to kidnap a Pennsylvania man she met on the online want ad site Craigslist.

Lansdale police say 25-year-old Lara Mountz answered the ad by a man seeking companionship. That man tells WCAU-TV that he placed the ad so he’d have company while going to a casino.

Instead, he says Mountz and two other people — a man and a woman — showed up armed back in January. He says Mountz had a gun but that he was able to escape and call 911.

Police say they’ve only been able to identify Mountz who hasn’t surrendered or been arrested.

The TV station says Mountz spoke to them and denied doing anything wrong adding, “Only an idiot would turn herself in.”
