SCRANTON — Four people were added to the growing list of potential jurors Tuesday in the capital murder case of Jessie Con-ui.

Con-ui, 40, is scheduled to stand trial in the coming weeks on charges he killed U.S. Corrections Officer Eric J. Williams, 34, of Nanticoke, in an attack inside U.S. Penitentiary Canaan in 2013 that prosecutors say was caught on video. Con-ui faces the death penalty if convicted.

Jurors 37, 38, 42, and 49 were added to the pool that includes three others pre-qualified Monday, court records show.

The screening process will continue with 12 potential jurors interviewed per day until 70 people are selected.

From there, the pool will be whittled down to 12 jurors and six alternates.
